On 9th of April 2012, To give an insight of the Rural Entrepreneurship Initiative, E-Resolute conducted a workshop with 75 VLE’s from the district Anantnag. We were honored to have the J&K Bank CSC Team to encourage our awareness initiative. The main objectives of this seminar where as follows:
1.Capacity Building Exercise:
We conducted activities that helped in strengthening the knowledge, abilities, skills and behavior of the VLE’s. We shared and explained different business models which are being implemented in rural areas across the globe so as to give a better understanding about creating sustainable businesses in their own locality.
The survey is
focused on identification & exploration of entrepreneurial and market opportunities that can be backed by Resolute Foundation and easily delivered by a Khidmat centre.
The survey has been carried out firstly by studying the trend in other states & subsequently through a focused market assessment to find the demand for the services that can be delivered by Khidmat centres & simultaneously increasing their own viability & long-term sustainability.
Accordingly a questionnaire was drafted to measure size, scale & the extent to which Khidmat centres can play a role to cater to some important & indispensable service needs of people across the state.
